Letters to Quiet Creatives is my weekly ramble, aimed at those of us with the quieter aesthetic (if you’re into TikTok and loud reels, it’s the opposite of that). It’s about what’s been happening on Instagram and how to market your offerings in a quiet and authentic way. One of the things I like to do here is pick apart official lines about what we ‘should be doing’, analyse them for what the real motive behind them is, and looks for ways we can move past our resistance when Instagram’s algorithm seems stacked against the quieter among us.  The sorts of people who subscribe to Letters to Quiet Creatives include artists, boutique air BnB operators, florists, potters, perfumers and craft folk.
